GPOBA Is an innovative program to giving access of clean water for poor people in developing countries which funded by World Bank with reimburcement system. This funding is given with certain requirements based on output received by the communities. In the beginning of this project, PALYJA as one of clean water service provider in DKI Jakarta has responsibility to pre-financing the implementation of this project until the output received by the community. Moreover, based on this specific output, PALYJA will receive reimburcement from World Bank. This project is occurred since April 2008 and it will be ended on December 2011. This project is divided into  2 phases. Present, PALYJA has connected 5.042 household through GPOBA phase 1. The areas are : Rawa Bengkel, Menceng, Warung Gantung, Rawa Lele, Utan Jati, and Muara Baru. These areas were chosen as GPOBA phase 1 area because these areas are poor/slum areas in DKI Jakarta and have poor groundwater quality which is not feasible to consumed. PALYJA hopes that this program could help poor people to getting connection to PALYJA clean water service with affordable price.
